Gisek is the millenia old island nation created as a utopia for those dedicated to the arcane arts. It is considered the most magically advanced kingdom in the known world, and because of this holds primary influence in the world of Abaddon.

Gisek is considered a meritocracy based on the power of magical research and accomplishments. Although Gisek’s rulers speak of their Benevolence and the quest for truth, one must ultimately question the motives of those whom have gathered such a vast amount of power and knowledge from around the world.

Rumor has it that the island was once connected by a land-bridge to The Great Expanse. At present however, the nation is surrounded by churning seas and it’s coast been formed into an almost completely circular landmass by powerful magic. The island is a sprawling city with the exception of small nature reserves which serve as testing areas for the use of magical experiments. As one travels towards the interior, the land gradually rises to a mighty plateau, on top of which sit the many massive citadels housing the ruling elite.
