“…after a time the body will reanimate with total clarity of mind. Those that assume a plague victim to be just another ghoul or zombie would be sorely mistaken to the extent that killing an individual suffering from said plague could be considered murder. Unfortunately this is not an accepted nor tolerated view in the eyes of the Inquisition, and so must remain pure opinion and not official theory.
“…Studies at Dunroot Alchemist’s College have shown that a Suruzal victim can neither feel pain nor hunger, although they do in fact require sustenance to survive, though any sense of taste has long dissipated…”
