The Coast of Gifts is a stretch of coast along the southwestern border of the kingdom of Carassus. It is riddled with many hostile and environments and aberrations.

The coast stretches from southeast to northwest and is overcast in a strange miasma of unease. Various visitors I’ve spoken to compared it to being set upon by a heavy despair, as if one’s dearly beloved had just passed. This may be a temporary effect as current inhabitants seem to have grown accustomed to it.

Physically, the coast is similar to the rest of Carassus, with a few exceptions. Occasionally anomalous areas may spring up, scarring the coast with random elemental effects and hosting various creatures of horrific mutative nature. There have also been parts that are at times overrun with a sentient hostile peoples, unknown and foreign to Carassus. Where they come from is a mystery, although some have speculated the sea.
