Mauslock

Mauslock, the capital of the Criminal Nation of Rifta, is a thriving port metropolis, fueled economically by the Corrupt Government and National Mafias. It consists of three districts, each governed by a different Mafia Boss. These three bosses are Jovan the Unblinking, Overlord of the Gilded Souls Organization in Rifta, [] the Merciful, Leader of the Clayborn Warriors Organization, and Rytkin Daro, Leader of the Vagabonds. Under these three kings of the underworld, the puppet government rules publicly. Of these districts, each has it’s own docks, city square, and Black Market. Rifta is known worldwide as a hub for illegal goods, flowing in from as far as The Great Expanse. These Goods can be found in each Black Market, although the Gilded Souls’ Black Market is known to hold the most valuable treasures. The city squares are areas of distinct interest, containing many taverns and places of sin and corruption. Gambling is rampant, and men openly kill each other in the streets if provoked. This is because of Mauslock’s loosely based laws, enforced only at the whim of a city gaurd. Although the danger is apparent, brave adventurers may find local information from citizens here more easily than any other area of the city. Mauslock is a city where money goes a long way and acts of foolish heroics will get you a knife in the back for your trouble.
